When you think of major food cities, New Orleans is definitely one of the first that comes to mind.

Not only is it the home to gumbo, po’boys and hefty plates of dirty rice, it’s a city full of rich, black culture and has a history of stories still being told. On this experience, each traveler will have an opportunity to explore the decadence that is New Orleans and there won’t be a bite of regret left.

Each activity is tailored to speak to the culinary expert within you. We focus on providing a one of a kind experience you won’t find anywhere else, with people you couldn’t think to have enjoyed it without. Yes, our community is that bomb. You’ll be traveling with our chosen New Orlean’s influencer who will be providing the inside scoop to the city so that you get the most of the trip you certainly deserve.

Transportation will be provided to and from the airport and the accommodations are lush, while tight knit. We pride ourselves on being a community, so all travelers will room in the same host hotel where there are opportunities to meet up, hit the town together or recover from a food coma.

There will also be our signature “Must Eat” Guide that will come in handy during unscheduled hours of the trip where you’ll be looking to explore on your own, hopefully with a new food friend. Our strong relationships with vendors in the area, will have you feeling at home in the Big Easy and ready to book your return!

What to expect:

This itinerary is subject to change based on Halloween related activities happening that weekend.

Dates: October 26-29

Day 1

The entire weekend may be a bit haunted, with unexpected spooks along the way! What you’ll know for sure is that you’re about to embark on a culinary experience like no other in the Big Easy.

You can start the day with beignets once you’re settled in and then hit the town for some solo exploring. Each traveler will be gifted a “Must Eat” guide to the city so there will be plenty of time to explore where to grab seafood or have that jambalaya that’s been calling you.

In the evening, we’ll come together for our first joint experience as we learn how to make a traditional New Orleans dish. Whether it’s grenades on Bourbon street or a little jazz on Frenchmen, the night will continue with us enjoying the best of NOLA,Including a stop at one of our favorite spots for a late night bite.

Day 2

After a long night of bead tossing, we’ll provide options to kick off your morning slowly. Grab a new friend and take a yoga class at a black owned studio, or head to your first swamp tour before we come together for brunch and go on a tour of the haunted history of the city.

Our afternoon will be filled with tours of museums, such as the Southern Food Museum or the New Orleans African American Museum. There will also be plenty of free time to find your fancy.

Day 3

Sunday is all about food crawling as we visit St. Roch market for a special experience and the opportunity to have more than 10 food vendors available to our taste buds.
