Everyone loves going hard in the gym to get their summer bodies right, but we have to remember that what we put in to our bodies is even more important than lifting those weights in the gym. With so much food temptation out there, it’s really difficult to maintain a clean and healthy eating lifestyle while on the go. Juicing has become super popular in the health and fitness world because of how easy it makes getting in your daily fruit and vegetable servings. With the new juicing craze has come a ton of new juice bars popping up all across NYC. Here I’ll share five juice bars to visit when you’re looking to get some more fruits and veggies in your life.

3 Roots, 159 Franklin St Brooklyn, NY 11222
Price: $
What to try: If you’re in Greenpoint and in need of some fresh fruit juice, look no further. We’d suggest trying one of their fresh juice blends, such as the Sunrise which contains orange, grapefruit, pineapple, and lemon. You can also create your own juice from their more than 15 options such as cucumber, green apple, carrot, cilantro, kale, and ginger. With so many options, 3 Roots has something for everyone!

Punchline Juice Bar, 701 Nostrand Ave. Brooklyn, NY 11216
Price: $
What to try: Go for the neighborhood inspired Crown Heights shake. Nothing we love more than when a juice bar can make a very green drink as tasty as it is healthy. This protein shake has peanuts, banana, almond, spirulina, pumpkin seed, granola, and a bunch of other ingredients that are great for your body. As a plus, make sure you grab some vegan ice cream on your way out!

Juiceland, 337 9th St. Brooklyn, NY 11215
Price: $
What to try: Juiceland has a variety of delicious fruit and vegetable blends made to order so you can pop in and grab one from that menu if it’s you first time. Give the Ninja Bachelor Party a try if you enjoy sweet with a hint of spicy. This juice contains pineapple, celery, kale, parsley, spinach, jalapeño (yes, jalapeño!), and Himalayan sea salt. Juiceland also has a wide selection of raw, cold-pressed juices for those in need of a true grab and go experience.

Peeled N’ Pressed, 808B Union St. Brooklyn, NY 11215
Price: $$
What to try: Our recommendation for Peeled N’ Pressed is the “Do You Even Lift, Bro?” smoothie. If not for the name alone, this smoothie also packs in a lot of nutrients and is a great source of protein. “Do You Even Lift, Bro?” contains banana, chia seeds, Hempseed granola, mango, and a protein of choice. Peeled N’ Pressed also offers a variety of acai bowls to pair with the delicious juices and smoothies.

Veggies Natural Juice Bar, 785 Franklin Ave. Brooklyn, NY 11238
Price: $
What to try: Veggies Natural Juice Bar has a natural juice to help with everything from hangovers to the common cold. If you’re in the mood for a tasty juice that’ll leave you feeling good, go for the Island Breeze (carrot, celery, orange, beet, apple, and ginger). This juice bar is super close to the Brooklyn Botanical Garden so grab a juice and a jerk tofu patty, and then go enjoy a day at the beautiful Botanical Gardens.

With so many juice bars popping up all over the five boroughs, it can be overwhelming to figure out where to go. Whether you are new to juicing, or a hall of fame, pro-juicer, these Brooklyn Juice Bars all have at least one item that has your name written all over it.
