DŌ cookie dough options

Something I’ve always loved as a kid was sneaking a scoop of raw cookie dough or licking the spoon for the raw brownie batter and eating it before anyone noticed. So imagine my delight when I found out about DŌ Cookie Dough Confections existed and I could indulge in the sweet treat of raw cookie dough without any of guilt.

Located in Greenwich Village, the place isn’t the biggest and it gets packed pretty quickly. The best time to get there is on a weekday during the day. Otherwise, the line gets super long and the wait time can take as long as an hour. But if you can only make it during busy hours, make sure to bring a friend to make the time go by faster.

This place is essentially an ice cream parlor that serves cookie dough instead. You can choose a cup or cone, whether you want toppings or ice cream to accompany your cookie dough.

They have a vast selection of cookie doughs to choose from, making it difficult to make your final decision until you taste a few. I got a scoop of PB Snickerdoodle in a cup with no extra toppings. It was a peanut butter cookie base with cinnamon sugar. It was the perfect combo of my two favorite cookies! The scoop was incredibly rich and sweet! So much so, I couldn’t even finish the entire scoop.

If for some reason a scoop of raw cookie dough isn’t your thing, DŌ serves other treats as well. They’ve got their Cookie DŌ Milkshakes, Ice Cream SandDŌwich and even a Brookie–a brownie layered with half-baked cookie dough a topped with chocolate ganache!

All in all, if you’re in the area and the line isn’t too long you should check out DŌ and indulge in some guilt-free cookie dough, or order it online as they ship worldwide. I’d give DŌ 3 out of 5 scoops.
