Attention brunch lovers: Things are about to get bloody! The Bloody Mary Liberation Party is bringing its all day celebration of the classic concoction of tomato juice and vodka back to Brooklyn this April. The fifth annual Bloody Mary Festival will return Sunday April 8th, 2018 at the Grand Prospect Hall from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m.
About the Bloody Mary Festival
The festival was born in New York City in 2014. It has since expanded to ten cities across the U.S. The Bloody Mary Liberation Party has curated the most crafty and delicious Bloody Mary’s from the five boroughs for the NYC edition. Attendees are admitted for one of two two-and-a-half-hour sessions enjoy tastes of local Bloody Mary’s from bars and restaurants like Dirty Candy and Loverboy, bites from local restaurants such as Jomart Chocolates and Brooklyn Whatever as well as music from the reggae fusion band Blue Dahlia. A vote for “People’s Choice Award” is also included which your ticket purchase.
Things to Know
Expect more than your usually celery garnish. Some of the unorthodox variations on the beloved brunch cocktail ill include dumplings, tortillas and pickled okra. You must be 21+ to attend and tickets are available for $50. The first session has sold out so act fast if you want to grab a spot in their afternoon session!
