One thing you can always appreciate about Philadelphia is their abundance of BYOB Brunch spots. As we are always in the mood for one, Miles Table was the brunch of choice for our 24-hour rendezvous. To my surprise, there was no line and no wait for seating both the inside and outside the establishment. You order at the counter here, similar to some burger spots I’ve been to, take a number and have a seat. In addition to their delicious looking menu MilesTable runs multiple specials every weekend, which of course, always makes it hard for me to decide what to order. My friends and I sat down sat down and popped the champagne while browsing through the menu.

After some back and forth debating what to order, I made a decision. The Nutella French toast won the battle along with the chicken on a biscuit. I paired it with scrambled eggs and potatoes. The Nutella, for once, didn’t overpower the french toast. I was able add whichever toppings I wanted. Miles Table provided good balance of fruits with the dish as well. The bread must have been taken off the skillet at the perfect time because the toast was fluffy, delightful, and a real sweet sight to see.

The chicken biscuit was definitely not a meal meant for one person. I struggled through the three pieces of chicken the dish came with. In addition, there was a heap of potatoes accompanying the biscuit just waiting to be devoured. The chicken was perfectly breaded, every bite was juicier than the last and the crisp biscuit provided a wonderful contrast. It was a hearty meal that (in theory) would allow a person to down two bottles of champagne on their own and still be fine, not that I did that or anything. If Green Eggs Cafe is packed (which it almost always is) then definitely grab a place Miles Table in Philadelphia.
