Kitchen 24 was on my to eat list since my last visit to L.A. in 2014. So it meant a lot to me that I was able to make time to visit. Giving some serious Cafeteria Vibes, Kitchen 24 was full of young people, good music and a high-spirited staff.
Our waitress raved on about the Kitchen 24 Breakfast Sandwich and since I wasn’t sure what I wanted, I took her advice. The Breakfast Sandwich consisted of an egg muffin, with an over easy egg, applewood bacon, onions, tomatoes, cheese and a side of fresh fruits. It was everything the waitress described it to be. I expected the sandwich to be messy, but to my surprise, it wasn’t. Each layer was given its own time to shine with my taste buds. I originally thought it wasn’t going to be that filling but it was the perfect size portion. I’m sure the density of the muffin had much to do with that.
Being that I eat with my eyes often, I had to try the Nutella Waffle. It just seemed to good to pass up on. Me and my associates, decided to share this plate since the unlimited mimosas were already making sure we didn’t need to eat for the remainder of the day. The chefs didn’t over pour the Nutella and the waffle was warm, easy to tear and even better to taste. Talk about mouth-watering!
The great thing about Kitchen 24 are the hours. They’re open when you come stumbling out of a L.A. night club and they are there for you during that morning hangover – or simply when you’re hungry.
