While the typical office 9-5 job life works for many of us, more and more millennials are moving towards entrepreneurship and/or the freelance life. As this happens, we have seen an increase in coworking spaces all across the city, especially in the ever growing Bronx. With more and more people going the cowork route, it can be difficult to find the perfect spot to fit your own needs. We decided to round up our picks for the best spots for some peace and quiet to satisfy all of your coworking needs.

Mottley Kitchen

402 E 140th St, Bronx, NY 10454

Mottley Kitchen is a cute little cafe that’s opened up in the Bronx, and is the perfect spot for you to grab a latte and get some work done. Along with delicious coffee, you can also grab a breakfast cup or sandwich, or one of their many lunch bowls and savory sandwiches. If you’re not too hungry, just grab one of their sweet pastries to hold you over. Another cool thing to note about Mottley Kitchen is the selection of books they have on display for purchase. Bronx Library Center

310 East Kingsbridge Road, BronxNY10458
We couldn’t do a roundup of best places to co-work without adding in the good ole public library. Yes fancy co-working spaces are nice, and the amenities are often enticing enough. But sometimes those fees can get in the way if you’re trying to make coins instead of spend them. The Bronx Library Center is the largest public library in the borough, with five floors of work space. If you don’t have your own laptop, you can use one of the facilities desktop computers or rent a laptop. Like Arthur said, “Having fun isn’t hard, when you’ve got a library card!”
