Streets BK RobleFriendships are rewarding – and so is brunch. I was a guest of my friend, Renee, who won Chef Roble’s #NowThatsRewarding instagram challenge, sponsored by Complex and the Marriott.

Renee and I had been meaning to check out Streets BK for some time now. So this amazing opportunity was right on time.

The pleasant staff and our super sweet waitress, Gigi, made sure we had an amazing time. We even had the chance to meet the man himself when Chef Roble popped in to say hello.

Streets BK Pain Killer

The Streets menu consist of street food from around the world. It’s literally like taking a trip to different land when trying a delicacy off the menu. With bags packed, we were ready to go.

To start I had the Pain Killer. It is like a Pina Colada with a twist and made to absolute perfection. I almost didn’t want a Mimosa, because I wasn’t quite sure how it would compare.

Streets BK brunch menu consist of small plates items and main courses. We ordered the Peri Peri Wings, Doubles, and Pork Chunks to share. The Pork Chunks were my favorite. They were crunchy and juicy even before you dip them in the accompanying sauce.

The Doubles, still warm by the time they reached the table, had all the flavors that could make one think they right in the middle of Trinidad. What was even more enjoyable, were the sauces that accompanied to enjoy them with.

Although,  we were starting to get full, we ordered the Costa Rican breakfast before starting on our wings. We even had the Brazllian Cheese Bread. The bread had a thick texture on the outside but was just as soft and warm as buttered bread. The food coma was beginning to ensue.

Streets BK Costa Rican Breakfast

Sorrel Mimosas were brought to our table and I am glad I didn’t opt for the Classic Mimosa. The Streets BK sure know how to make cocktails because the Sorrel Mimosa was delicious.

I ordered the Costa Rican breakfast with steak, however one could choose to have shrimp with it instead. When that came out to the table it reminded me of a party wheel, where you can DIY with tortilla’s and all the amazing fillers it comes with.

The Streets BK is also very laid back, with an semi open kitchen and clean restrooms. If you’re looking for a rewarding and enjoyable experience, this is a great place to find it.
