When people think of New York, they think about Times Square, yellow taxis, the Empire State Building, and New York styled Pizza. Whether you are from Uptown, Downtown, Queens, or Brooklyn, you can agree that the perfect slice of pizza can turn any bad week upside down. So, we are listing some of the best places to get pizza by the slice in NYC.

Joe’s Pizza, 7 Carmine Street, New York, NY 10014
Price: $
Best slice to order: When visiting Joe’s Pizza in the West Village, you cannot leave without trying their Fresh Mozzarella slice. One could argue that cheese is the best part of pizza, so who wouldn’t love biting into a slice that is topped with loads of fresh mozzarella cheese? No one, absolutely no one.

Another great thing about Joe’s, all that pepperoni!

Prince Street Pizza, 27 Prince St A, NY, NY 10012
Price: $
Best Slice to Order: Prince Street is one of the most popular pizza by the slice places in NY, with lines sometimes reaching the end of the block! Their walls are covered with photographs of celebrities stopping in for some pizza. Once you make it inside, do yourself a favor and order the Pepperoni square. They pack a ton of house made pepperoni slices on a Sicilian sized square that’s puffy but still crispy, and the freshly made pepperoni will change the way you look at regular pepperoni forever.

Luigi’s Pizzeria, 326 Dekalb Avenue, Brooklyn, NY 11205
Price: $
Best Slice to Order: Brooklyn is home to some of the best pizza in NYC (in my biased Brooklynite opinion), and some say the Grandma slice at Luigi’s is the best grandma slice you will find in all the five boroughs. There’s no seating inside, so grab a grandma slice and take a stroll down the bustling Dekalb Avenue.

Patzeria Perfect Pizza, 231 W 46th St, New York, NY 10036
Price: $
Best Slice to Order: The best slice at this busy but delicious midtown shop is the lasagna shop. Yes, you heard that correctly, lasagna! Imagine having everything you love about lasagna sitting on top of a pizza slice, waiting to be devoured. Need I say more?

Yolanda’s Restaurant and Pizzeria, 292 E 149th St, Bronx, NY 10451
Price: $$
Best Slice to Order: Yolanda’s serves some of the biggest pizza by the slice in the Bronx, so any slice would satisfy your hunger and appetite. However, their Chicken Caesar salad pizza is not one to turn down. It’s almost like you’re having a healthy chicken caesar salad, but it’s on a pizza slice. #Winning!

Artichoke Basille’s Pizza, 321 E 14th St, New York, NY 10003
Price: $
Best Slice to Order: Artichoke Pizza is a well-known pizzeria with many locations throughout Manhattan and Brooklyn. Most people know it specifically for the famous artichoke slice. It’s creamy and filling and everything you thought you needed in an artichoke slice of pizza. Trust me, it’s worth it.

There are so many places to get pizza in NYC, so it can be hard to find the perfect spot when you just need one slice (or two) to satisfy your needs. Some of us like our pizza plain, some prefer covered in pepperoni, and some prefer unique tastes like artichoke or lasagna. Regardless, we all love the luxury of popping in to a restaurant to grab our favorite slice. Let us know in the comments where your go to restaurant is for pizza by the slice.
